In Haiti, the participation of young people in the development of the country is very low, of course, the State has its full responsibility in the non-involvement of Haitian youth in the development of its country, it is up to the latter to provide a quality, modern and progressive education to the youth who will take over in the future in order to promote the country both politically, economically, socially and legally. We have noted this weakness and the sidelining of youth by the State in important affairs and major decisions of the republic.

We also note a desolation among young people who from day to day begin to lose patience, to dissociate themselves from each other and to be pessimistic about the change of our great republic, this is why we ONEURHAITI, believe that everything can change if and only if young intellectuals, namely academics and professionals of this country, are aware that these current problems can send us to the deepest abyss of misery.

We, ONEURHAITI, IMPACTER HAITI, OJANOH and the MANMAN political structure, believe in an absolute change of all these imperfections in order to provide the country with dynamic, fiery and progressive young people who can help us eradicate this problem. This initiative is an obvious door that will promote a change of thinking and focus on the four axes of development, namely: social, economic, justice and politics. Our Heroes through the blood of sacrifice led us to independence, in order to make us free. Toussaint Louverture showed the way to independence to Jean-Jacques Dessalines, who himself led the slaves to freedom. After independence, the founding father of this nation fought for social justice, social equality and a strong nation, which led to his death. Today, we see that his dream went up in smoke after his death. Now, the youth firmly believes that the time is more than favorable to land Dessalines' dream. This fight will be led by the youth to pay tribute to the sacrifices of our ancestors.

A youth without vision and without a goal is a transparent youth, a youth without an objective and without a mission is a dead youth.

If the Haitian youth is the future of this country Why does the State neglect it so much?

If it is the energy and the founding base of a good tomorrow for our homeland, why does the State not invest in it?

Is there a reason to neglect education in Haiti?

Is there a reason to privatize state property?

Is there a reason to neglect national production which is the basis of the country's economy?

All this goes against the dream of our first emperor.

What can we do to change all this then?

When a country's economy is down and is not stable, it causes misery and the latter leads to corruption, insecurity and inequality.

When justice is disregarded, it causes its weakness and this weakness leads to injustice and disrespect for human rights.

When politics is unstable, it destabilizes the State and causes the weakness of all State institutions.

When people's living conditions do not improve, it causes the high cost of living, poverty, etc.

This is why all of these youth organizations are organizing the conference-debate, SOS L'AVENIR: THE DREAM OF JEAN-JACQUES DESSALINES, THE YOUTH SPEAKS, that will take place on October 17, 2024, the date of the commemoration of the death of Jean Jacques Dessalines at GROUPE COSMOS, Delmas 60, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this conference is to unify Haitian youth so that they can sit down to plan and propose a way out of the crisis at all levels to change the country. Their involvement in the development of this country is mandatory. They must not remain locked in their ivory tower and remain holed up at home, instead they must come out of their silence to change the country.

THE TARGET GROUP
This project is designed for all Haitians who are aware of the problems facing our country.

THE EXPECTED RESULTS
The realization of this project will allow the youth to better understand the importance of coming together to produce new progressive visions for the change of the country on all levels. The youth will define their role and their involvement in the change of this new Haiti that we advocate because this project is part of a new perspective to change the mentality of people who do not believe in this change and also in a better future for this country. The latter aims at the involvement of the youth, a change in behavior, thinking and a coating of great positive visions for an open mind towards the horizon of great things, great values ​​and sustainable development.
